Bobolinks, Grasslands, and More about Habitats

  • Fredrick White Farm 70 Maple Avenue Durham, CT, 06422 United States (map)

The Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society will be running a session at the 2025 Connecticut Bobolink and Wildlife Festival in Durham!

The first session, from 7:55am to 9:15am at Frederick White Farm, is called Bobolinks, Grasslands and More about Habitats with Melissa Baston and the Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society. Register online for free at the Durham Library to ensure your place!

Guests will divide into small groups and walk with expert bird guides and learn about the bobolink, an important migratory songbird from South America. The walk around the farm may be very muddy, but will not be strenuous as it is mostly flat. For more information on this special session, see the notice on the Durham Library’s calendar.
