The Museum/Nature Center at Riverbound Farm Sanctuary is open every third Sunday from April to October, 11am to 4pm. Learn more about visiting here!

The sanctuary includes a house built in 1814 and 23.4 acres of diverse habitat preserved permanently as open space. Riverbound Farm is dedicated as a memorial to the Tappert and the Mortensen families.

The Museum and Nature Center allows you to explore the 1814 house and learn about its history, the local flora and fauna, and of course, native birds. Explore our exhibits, talk to our local experts, and bring the whole family to make nature-themed collages and pictures at our craft table!

The grounds and trails are open to the public daily from dawn until dusk. Try to spot your favorite feathered friends at our bird blind, wander our native gardens, and take the trails down to the rushing Quinnipiac River. Double-check our visiting page for tips before your trek.
