Join Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society at Riverbound Farm Sanctuary for The Big Sit.

The Big Sit is a birding event hosted by the New Haven Bird Club every year. The challenge is to identify as many birds as you can in one day while sitting in a 17 foot diameter circle.

QVAS participated in The Big Sit on two days last year - check out all our bird sightings here!

Technically, the Big Sit lasts from 12am to 11:59pm on October 12, but QVAS will be sitting from 9am until 12pm!
